Edinburgh: the perfect place to study English Language.

Students come from every part of the world to study English in Edinburgh. The Arch School of English is a small school (around 40-50 students) with a family atmosphere. We meet in an old church building. We do not provide accommodation, but students can find rental properties in the city at a reasonable rate.
The History

The Arch School of English was established in Edinburgh in 1994 to teach English as a foreign language. The original aim of the school, was to help Christian missionaries from overseas to learn English. Everyone is welcome to apply and students enjoy learning English here. We teach English courses for students of all levels. Our students come from many countries, including Brazil, China, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Kosovo, Poland,Taiwan and Spain.
The Classrooms
We run our English lessons in a historic church building; Bristo Baptist Church. This building provides us with the facilities for a number of different classrooms. Class numbers vary from 2-12 students per teacher. The kitchen facilities mean that coffee and tea are always available at breaktime.
The Staff
As well as the School Director, we have an Academic Manager with a Trinity Diploma in TESOL, an Administrator and TEFL qualified teachers. All of the staff are happy to help students with any problems they may face.
